New park benches for Bad Schallerbach
Kreuzmayr & Tischlerei Greinecker in collaboration

We make more from fruit – We make more for the region

The Kreuzmayr company, in collaboration with the Gereinecker joinery from Bad Schallerbach, sets accents in the local area! The new, visually appealing wooden benches with stainless steel frames are currently being installed on the town hall square, which will beautify the townscape and ensure the best seating comfort.

To match this, the new trash cans made of high-quality stainless steel are installed, which impress with their timeless design and durability.

What is particularly noteworthy is that both the benches and the trash cans were manufactured directly in Bad Schallerbach. The Kreuzmayr company, which manufactured the bench frames and the trash cans from stainless steel, worked in close collaboration with the local carpentry Greinecker, which took care of the wooden planking of the benches, and this is how these high-quality products were created, which were designed together with the municipality of Bad Schallerbach .

Thanks to regional production, delivery routes remain short and valuable jobs are secured in the region.

Another highlight: Both the benches and the trash cans proudly bear the Bad Schallerbach logo thanks to their in-house production, thus combining functionality with local identity.

Many thanks to the Greinecker carpentry workshop (www.tischlerei-greinecker.at) and the market town of Bad Schallerbach for their collaboration on this regional project!

Anniversary beer for Bad Schallerbach
Brewing beer is Robert Kreuzmayr’s hobby

We make more from fruit – We make more for the region

Innovative machines for fruit processing – and passion for the art of brewing

Kreuzmayr Maschinenbau GmbH in Wallern an der Trattnach is a world-leading specialist for fruit processing machines. Founded and managed by Robert Kreuzmayr, our company with around 50 highly qualified employees develops state-of-the-art systems for washing, straining, pressing, juicing and preserving fruit. Our machines are used in over 100 countries and guarantee optimal quality in the processing and bottling of juices, jams and other fruit products. We also offer services in the area of contract filling.

Robert Kreuzmayr – entrepreneur and passionate fruit processor

In addition to his successful work as an entrepreneur, Robert Kreuzmayr also devotes his free time to processing fruit. With the same passion with which he develops his machines, he produces various juices, fruit wines, vinegars and a variety of fine brandies as a hobby.

His enthusiasm for high-quality food technology eventually led him to brewing beer. What started as a gift in the form of a small beer brewing set quickly developed into a new passion. Today he has his own brewing system and is dedicated to the creation of special, handcrafted beers.

Pleasure beers instead of mass-produced goods

Today, Robert Kreuzmayr brews a wide range of beer specialties with a lot of dedication. Quality has always priority: He does not produce mass-produced goods, but rather gourmet beers, which are already in high demand in the region. The approximately 20 types of beer that he has already developed include classics such as "Münchner Helles", "Maibock", "Fränkisches Rotbier" and Wheat beer, but also unusual creations such as beer made out of rye or Oatmeal Stout.

He is currently working on a non-alcoholic beer – always driven by his passion for brewing. The beers are bottled in five, twelve or 30 liter PET-barrels, depending on customer requirements. Due to the high demand, he is already thinking about expanding his brewing system.

Robert Kreuzmayr acquired the necessary know-how through intensive study of specialist literature and his good contacts with master brewers. Thanks to his extensive experience in fruit processing and food technology, the step to brewing beer was an obvious one.

Szatmari counts
on Kreuzmayr

Szatmari counts
on Kreuzmayr

After a month-long mounting period, an automatic, continuous belt-drying mechanism for apples was successfully delivered to the production department of the fruit-processing company Szatmari KFT in the Hungarian city of Csenger.More than 6 artic trucks of prefabricated parts were safely and professionally mounted on site.
The Szatmari company is a renowned enterprise, which  specializes in the processing of fruits. The original unit could not keep up with the growing demand for apple chips. A further advantage of the newly installed Kreuzmayr apple-drying mechanism is not only energy-savings of more than 35%, but also a substantially higher production speed.

Sustainable investment
in Factory 1

Future-oriented in the sense of maintaining a clean environment and a diligent handling of resources,  the entire roof of the main factory in Wallern was equipped with a photovoltaic assembly.  „Our construction delivers more than 100 kW and ensures an energy savings of more than 30% per year“, reports the owner and CEO Ing. Robert Kreuzmayr happily.

More space for a
higher capacity

In Factory 2 of  Kreuzmayr Co. (Wolfsegg), an additional production- and assembly hall with more than 1.300 m² surface area is currently being built. In addition, a newly installed 5-ton crane will make the loading- and mounting jobs of large fruit-processing machines much easier.
Additionally a new loading hall of more than 200m² is being constructed. This will make the packing and loading of machines independent of weather conditions, so that in the future, all the loading- and packing procedures can  be done „indoors“.
This became necessary because the percentage of overseas business is steadily climbing, and the Kreuzmayr company wants to present their employees with optimal working conditions.
The expansion of the production area, as well as additional job openings, will ensure a faster and more efficient execution of big projects, and strengthen the industrial location of Wolfsegg.

Self-produced
cider

When he purchased a farm in Hausruckviertel, Mr. Kreuzmayr was obligated to successfully complete the vocational training as an agricultural craftsman
„It was my ambition to produce cider and juices professionally myself„ explains Ing. Robert Kreuzmayr, who can now add the title agriculturalist to his original education as a mechanical engineer.
„I am especially pleased about the momentum of my sons, who went to agricultural school with me, without hesitation, and also graduated with honors“, says a proud Ing. Robert Kreuzmayr.

Africa also chooses
„green energy“

After some long negotiations,  the Kreuzmayr company could convince a long-standing customer in Ghana to convert their gas-powered drying assembly to solar energy and thermic utilization of coconut husks.
During the daytime, the necessary hot water for the function of the dryer is now largely supplied by solar energy through the installed solar collector. At night and during peak times, the husks of coconuts (which can also be dried to tasty chips) are burned as fuel, thus delivering 100% renewable energy.
The remaining ashes are used on their own plantations as fertilizer.
The fruits dried in Ghana, like pinapple, mango, papaya and coconuts are exclusively grown organically.
„For me, as an organic producer, it very important that the energy production is also  environmentally sustainable“, ensures Mr. Patrick Wad from Wad African Foods ltd. www.wadco.ch

Largest mobile assembly
on the way to canada

The mobile Kreuzmayr fruit press is perfect for the processing of fruit juices on site. With this juice production unit the press comes to the fruit and not the other way round.

The mobile juice production unit KML 400 ECO is THE starter model in the mobile world of juice and exists of a base equipment for juice production. The trailer is particularly worthwhile for beginners in the sector of the juice production.

A washing and grinding unit, the single belt press KEB 400 Eco, the pasteurizer, as well as a Bag in Box filler combine to a complete juice production unit.

Many advantages like a trailer made of stainless steel, a central floor drain of the washing water or one pipe-in-pipe heat exchanger with automatic temperature regulation and much more simplify the operation of the trailer for first users.

Different technical upgrades are optionally available of customer request.

CONTAINER DELIVERY No. 2
TOWARDS BELGIUM

A Belgien customer buys two mobile fruit juice processing assemblies, this time even larger, and in a hydraulic lowerable container. The big challange for Kreuzmayr was to build the entire assembly inside a standardized container where the bottom can be lowered hydraulically, so that the customer wouldn't have to climb up on the trailer.

The container is constructed in our factory, entirely made of stainless steel, to comply with the requirements of the International Food Commission. Based on the success of the first assembly, and the constantly increasing demand for high quality juices, our customer decided to buy the second, even more powerful assembly with an hourly yield of 2000 Ltr.
